Team Firestorm V2

You know what today marks? (Well today in my Timezone anyway) It marks the 5th anniversary of me getting Explorers of Time! In turn it is also the 5th anniversary of the creation of Team Fire Storm, and boy have they evolved (no pun intended) over the years. Also to celebrate here five fun facts (plus one) about this awesome duo! (Might add more if I think of something noteworthy.)


#1 When I did the questionnaire for the first time I initially got Skitty, (Partner was still Chimchar) but my brain burped and I forgot to save the game My second run through those questions got me Pikachu and I decided to stick with it. Additionally When I got Pikachu I wanted to have Piplup as my partner to match the Japanese commercials but I couldn't find him. (I did not yet know that I could just select a character and say no to refresh the list at the time.) So I went with Chimchar again. Makes me wonder if I would even have thought of my stories had I still had Skitty or chose Piplup.


#2 On my first play through they had the default team name because I'm no good at coming up with team names! I didn't come up with Firestorm until a couple of play throughs later.

#3 For a while Chloe wasn't called Chloe she was just a Pika version of me and looked like an ordinary Pikachu (ears were at normal length for example.) but then I wanted to RP with my team so I gave Chloe a name of her own for security reasons. Then I started adding stuff until she became the Chloe you know today! Chimchar is still nameless to this day funnily enough.

#4 Chloe was named after my Guinea Pig who sadly died not long before the events of the fun fact above.

#5 Chloe is Ambidextrous

#6 Chimchar never got a nickname because I thought it'd be kinda strange that my partner has a name but everyone in Treasure Town and beyond didn't. (My partner in Infinity got one because he sorta ASKED for one.) Even when Sy and Razor came on the scene Chimchar remained nameless.
